It has been a long time coming but as you're probably already aware, I have updated the Terms of Service. The updates are a result of feedback from users, site enhancements, and thoughtful consideration. They are meant to protect users' privacy but also provide additional protections for free speech. Specifically, Section (c) under "Conduct" has been updated as follows:
You agree not to post, distribute, or otherwise make available Content:
...
c) that personally identifies someone by their name (or any iteration of their name), phone number, email address, mailing address, or links to external content and images. However, posting names of individuals such as writers, public figures, administrators or groups or any other individuals existing in the public light (i.e. mentions in newspapers or blogs), regarded as a common topic of discussion shall be permitted so long as it does not constitute harassment, slander, libel, nor seeks or threatens to cause physical harm;
Updates to the Terms of Service will be made available in the future. When the terms change, all users will be required to re-accept the Terms of Service.
